The recently completed Co-op convenience store development in Swansea has now been officially opened.
The store is two brand new Co-op food stores in Wales, which run on 100% renewable electricity, and will see the creation of around 15 jobs for the area.
Developed by Aspect Developments Wales, the store is located near to the bustling city centre on Walter Road.
Paul Chudley, Co-op Regional Manager, said:
We are delighted to continue our investment programme in Wales, which is creating new stores in communities, while transforming our existing sites – this includes the introduction of additional services, such as Amazon Lockers, Costa coffee and the phased roll-out of our own online shop alongside our work with partners including Deliveroo and John Lewis Click & Collect, to develop a really compelling convenience offer locally.
The Co-op announced the opening of the store on its corporate website, and you can read even more about the project on our Swansea Co-op convenience store development page or alternatively contact us for more information.
